Obama, Biden And David Beckham Team Up For Powerful New Anti-Abuse PSA [VIDEO]

If you’re looking for one more end-of-the-day watch, make it this one: President Obama, Vice President Biden and a host of famous athletes teamed up for a new “1 Is 2 Many” public service announcement combating violence against women.
I’m torn here: On the one hand, the video is pretty great. I’m heartened by its simple, straight-forward message. On the other hand, it’s profoundly depressing that we still need PSAs telling people, “Hey, by the way, if you see some dude hitting his girlfriend, you know, maybe say something? Don’t just stand there — maybe help her out?”
But yep, we still need these videos. And it’s pretty cool that the president, vice president and Jeremy Lin (in no particular order…) stepped up to send this clear message: Violence against women needs to stop.
