Mogul Toy of the Day: The $2 Million Toilet

And we thought the $6,390 toilet was a bit much.

Behold the $2 million, gold-plated loo, which debuted at the 11th World Toilet Summit and Expo, according to the Daily Mail. In other news, apparently the “World Toilet Summit and Expo” is an actual thing that exists that people go to.

The toilet, seen here, is actually rather unremarkable — aside from the fact that it’s covered in gold and that it prompted the Daily Mail to make this awesomely snarky observation in its write up:

Over 2.5 billion people do not have access to clean loos.

Sick burn, Daily Mail.

Not sure who would buy this… other than someone who’s flush with cash (you knew it was coming), or those who want all their house guests to hate them.

    Even IF I had the money my conscience would not let me spend 2M for a “POT” or over 200K for a handbag….they evidently don’t know about the starving children here in the USA as well as all the jobless and homeless folks..SHAME ON THEM…
