4 Apartments And Homes No Woman Would Ever Want To Live In

If it’s not enough for you that “American Psycho” mastermind Bret Easton Ellis wants to write the script for “Fifty Shades of Grey,” you’ll be happy to learn that his NYC apartment is now available for rent.

But if you’re hesitant to stay in the residence of the guy who created murderous Wall Street employee Patrick Bateman, your fears are easy to understand. Who wants to be surrounded by creepy finance dude vibes, even in the slightest? Several undesirable apartments and homes have hit the market recently, such as killer Lizzie Borden’s house and Carrie Bradshaw’s obscenely overpriced place. Here is the full list.

1.Carrie Bradshaw's brownstone

Last month, "Sex and the City" heroine Carrie Bradshaw's West Village pad went on sale for $9.65 million. While it would seem cool to live in the same stomping grounds as the iconic HBO character, the price tag is beyond unreasonable, and I'm sure Carrie's large closet and shoe collection are not part of the deal. Most of all, who wants to come home to "SATC" fangirls taking pictures of the front door or apartment stairs?

2.Lizzie Borden's house

For $650,000, you can have the Massachusetts home in which Lizzie Borden lived upon allegedly murdering her father and stepmother. Basically the equivalent of a Barbie Dream House.

3.'American Psycho' writer's lower east side home

Because nothing could be more relaxing than lodging in the place where the "American Psycho" creator writer resided, right? I'm being facetious...kind of. Most of you are mature adults and therefore unfazed by utterly meaningless details like that, but you also have to consider the rent of the one-bedroom apartment: $5,000 a month. It may be in the LES and all, but that's a lot of dough for digs made for just one person.

4.Condo in 'Fifty Shades of Grey' building

A month ago, somebody dropped nearly $6 million on a condo in Seattle's Escala building, where fictional "Fifty Shades of Grey" brooder Christian Grey resides. The three-bedroom apartment comes with a library and piano room, but no Christian Grey, so what would be the point of living there? Total rip-off, if you ask me.
