5 Post-Holidays Tasks You Can’t Forget To Fulfill

It’s nice to have the stressful holiday season mostly out of the way, but you’re not totally off the hook yet. A lot of people jumped through many hoops to give you a nice Christmas/Hanukkah/whatever, so be sure to demonstrate your thanks and send them your praises once you’ve thrown away wrapping paper and taken down your Christmas decorations. Here are five things you must remember to do before fully saying farewell to 2012 and the holiday season.

1.Return baked goods containers

I received a lot of cookies this year, and now that I'm done with all the treats, I need to wash the containers before returning them to the baker. It's courteous to give the container back to the person who made the baked goods so he/she can get more mileage out of it.

2.Cash your checks

And don't forget to endorse them with a signature!

3.Send thank you notes out

And really, I shouldn't be the one to remind you why this is necessary. Whether via email or the postal service, you must show gratitude for those who went the extra mile for you this holiday season.
