5 Reasons To Love Honey Boo Boo

You know that little thing called the post-holiday blues? It started to set in for me on Sunday, but rather than down my second red velvet cupcake of the day and complain about the weather, I re-watched season one of TLC hit “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo,” which released a “Holladay” special last night. There’s a reason the network aired it Sunday evening. Even the gloomiest, coldest day in winter couldn’t take away from the fact that little Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson is quite an entertaining gal (although not all Jane Dough writers would agree with me on this). In honor of the new “Holladay” specials coming out, here are a couple reasons to appreciate the feisty, fearless, wild Honey Boo Boo Child.

1.Her mom's teaching her how to save money

Alana's mother has opened up trust funds for Alana and her sisters to prevent the girls from squandering their reality show earnings early in life. They won't have access to the dough until reaching age 21, so don't expect to see Honey Boo Boo running around with Chanel earrings anytime soon, even though she could probably afford them at this point in her budding career.

2.Even TV cameramen laugh at her jokes

Perhaps she has a future in stand-up?

3.She enrages jerks

If you're on Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine's hate list, you're doing something right.

4.She's close with her family

I'm guessing you wouldn't want to trade lives with socially inept Alana, but at the end of the day, she has a strong support system at home and her family members aren't constantly trying to tear each other down.
