Look Out, NYC Pedestrians: Amanda Bynes Moving To New York To Start Fashion Line

Amanda Bynes has been all over the news this year for being charged with a DUI and two counts of hit-and-run, but the “She’s the Man” star assures us that all is well, adding that she’s about to embark upon a new adventure on the east coast.

The 26-year-old, who has reportedly been seen having conversations with herself and inanimate objects lately, told PEOPLE that she’s gearing up to relocate to NYC to launch a fashion line:

“I am retired as an actor. I am moving to New York to launch my career. I am going to do a fashion line. I am not talking about being arrested for DUI because I don’t drink, and I don’t drink and drive. It is all false.”

The publication adds that the Los Angeles native was “polite, respectful and upbeat on the phone.” But does that change the fact that she reportedly barricaded herself in a West Hollywood boutique dressing room for two hours, took her top off in a spin class only to reveal she was wearing a strapless push-up bra as opposed to a sports bra, or ‘laughed hysterically to herself’ for no reason on an Equinox gym elliptical? All of those behavior patterns are unsettling, and methinks she won’t be able to handle the intensity of the concrete jungle without a sound mind or body.

As a lifelong Bynes fan, I’m rooting for her comeback, but as a brand new New Yorker, I’m prioritizing my safety and going to begin watching the roads. I really do hope her fashion line pans out though, but hopefully she doesn’t plan on selling stuff like the outfit she recently wore:
