Shocker Of The Year: Amanda Bynes Reportedly Asked To Leave NYC Apartment For Pothead Ways

Listen. No one wants to see the great Amanda Bynes Comeback more than me and Jane Dough leading lady Sarah Devlin, but sometimes, you just have to let things go and realize that you’re never going to have the thing you pine for most in this world…like the first guy you fell for, and Amanda Bynes circa 2006. Sigh. Reality sure does bite.

That’s why we weren’t entirely shocked to learn that the 26-year-old celebrity, who has found herself in some downright bizarre situations post-“She’s the Man” awesomeness, reportedly moved out of her new NYC digs after her landlord asked her to quit smoking so much marijuana. TMZ has the story on the Los Angeles native, who made headlines last year for moving from California to the east coast on a whim and encountering a lot of vehicle drama:

Sources at the apartment tell us … Bynes got a letter from building management earlier this month explaining that her lease would be terminated … because she’s a building nuisance. We’re told management made the decision after getting several complaints of marijuana smoke coming from her apartment — “morning, noon and night.” Sources say she was also seen smoking weed in the hallways.

In celeb style, Bynes reportedly moved out on her own without being asked to leave, preferring to do things on her own terms. Regardless, I think we can all agree that I was right when I predicted a couple of months ago that she was so not ready for the northeast. Tell me, Amanda, how’s that fashion line of yours coming along? Swimmingly, I presume?
