Oops: Anchorman Accidentally Hits On Female Meteorologist Live On The Air [VIDEO]

This story involves one extremely confused meteorologist and an anchorman who clearly never learned the definition of the word “canoodle.”

During a newscast in Canada, a local interest story included the word “canoodle” — from the video of this blooper it’s not entirely clear why “canoodle” came up, but it did. And the anchorman on the program, tasked with transitioning from the aforementioned segment to the local weather, decided he’d be cute and ask his female colleague, live and on the air, if she’d like to “canoodle” with him. The problem? He thought “canoodle” meant chat. It does not. At all.

Watch the whole awkward mess — including the meteorologist’s hilariously horrified reaction — below:

Haha! Yeah, based on where it fell in the sentence he was trying to construct, I’m guessing that he had no idea what he was saying…her expressions that follow are HILARIOUS.

LOL!!!!!  Not only does he (accidentally or not) hit on her, he gets totally shot down

He expects us to believe that he deosnt know what canoodling means? I think he’s full of it, because he seemed to recognize, instantly, that he made a mistake which explains the awkwardness and long pause. He played dumb on the spot, once the weather girl started to bust on him.

Nope… I don’t think she’s going to “get him off” as well.

yikes! then he said , “Get me off…..camera”

His producer corrected him in his ear which is why he paused.  There’s no reason to think he knew what he was saying, because even if he did, why would he say that?  It doesn’t make any sense unless he thought the word meant “chat.”

you can even hear the producer yelling in the background at one point in the video

“There will be no canoodling”, that weather lady is a fun, funny lady, she handled that perfectly.

Perhapsy to try to and be cute, and see if the weather girl would play along. I cant imagine that a news anchor wouldnt know what canoodling means. Thats almost impossible.

I didnt hear anything until after the weather girl started to bust on him

Yeah, that “get off… camera” was a little suspicious.  I wouldn’t be too surprised to learn that he was setting himself up for youtube or simply pranking the forecaster.
    (as done here)

I doubt there would ever be canoodling between that particular newsguy and a female weathercaster…. Just saying.
