5 Projects We’d Love To See Ann Curry Tackle Next

I’m still in mourning over Ann Curry’s tragic Today show departure, but ready to embrace my inner optimist and see this ending as a new beginning. After all, there appears to be a light at the end of the tunnel for this fighter of a lady: she’s not leaving the network as a whole and has a new role as NBC News National & International Correspondent and Today anchor at large. NBC News president Steve Capus says Curry will be reporting on a host of different programs and topics, so here are a couple of assignments and projects I’d love her to have.

1.The 2012 Olympics

She's going to report on global and domestic humanitarian issues, but we also want to see her cover light and fun stories that bring people joy.

2.The 2012 election

She would definitely have something clever to add to this circus of an election.

3.Do a segment with Brian Williams

They'd make a good team!

4.Syria

With her global reporting credentials, she'd be an excellent person to cover the Syria conflict.

5.Appear on The View

Because who wouldn't want to?
