The other day Maria Sharapova made history when she was named as Russia’s first-ever female Olympic flag-bearer. So that got us thinking: Everybody knows Maria Sharapova is a competitive athlete and a truly talented professional tennis player, but what else is this 25 year old doing in order to be so successful? Having won her first grand-slam at the young age of 17, Maria has gone on to become a driving force in professional women’s tennis, but that’s not all.

It’s almost time to start watching the Olympics! But while we are all super excited at The Jane Dough to see all the athletes, there are several interesting and inspiring female athletes we’re especially thrilled to see. We definitely plan on following the successes of these impressive women and we hope you look out for them during the Olympics this year, too!

Welcome back to work! We know that Mondays can be a little rough after relaxing and fun-filled weekends, but we found some great tweets today to lighten your mood! So take a break from the Monday hustle and bustle and enjoy reading what women have to say on Twitter. Today we were surprised to learn that it is national Karma day and International Juggling Day (strange), HD TV is worth buying if you’re a fan of the “dramatic re-enactment” wigs and finally, Lolo Jones has a funny way of completing her “pool” workouts. Enjoy!

Happy Friday (the 13th)! I know you’re probably considering wrapping yourself in bubble tape as a precaution on this “unlucky” day, but why don’t you take a moment and read our 13 (get it?!) top tweets of the day, instead! Today we learned that Lauren Caltagirone talks “gummybears,’ Lady Gaga calls out Lindsay Lohan, Mindy Kaling plans the best day ever and Ellen’s show appeals to a very unusual (and furry) audience. Enjoy and have a great weekend!

Happy Monday! Here’s hoping you all have had an easier start to the week than me, but one Apple Store trip, Starbucks trip and Post Office fight later I’m here to bring you the best tweets we found on Twitter today. So, take a break from the Monday stresses and check out what we found: Lena Dunham is on “edge”, Joan Rivers reflects on traumatic beach vacations, Mindy Kaling talks about Diet Coke and “YOLO” is maybe not the best way to end a business related email. Enjoy!

TGIF! Or…I think it’s Friday at least. Today on Twitter we found that women were generally frustrated and confused after having a holiday in the middle of the work week, Megan McCain swears she’s not hitting on you, Ellen tweets a picture of an adorable dog (I want!) and Ivanka Trump is so over “Call Me Maybe.” So take a break, relax, enjoy these tweets and have a wonderful weekend!

Welcome to the start of another work week! I know that Mondays probably aren’t your favorite, but think of it this way: one more day of work and then it’s the 4th of July [insert fireworks here]. But before you get carried away making holiday plans take a moment and catch up with what women are saying on Twitter. Today we learned that Ellen DeGeneres makes great nut jokes, Crocs are just terrible shoes, gymnasts have uncomfortably tight ponytails and unicorns may actually still exist. Did I catch your attention? Enjoy!

Happy Friday! Congrats on making it through the work week! Now it’s time to unwind, and go buy your tickets to Magic Mike (let’s face it, you’ve been thinking about this since Monday). But before you go off on your wild weekend plans, take a moment and check out what women were tweeting on Twitter today. We found that Celebs watch Disney movies too, Mindy Kaling gets a little creepy, stamps get first class treatment and Taylor Swift carries around some plain weird stuff in her wallet. Enjoy and have a wonderful weekend! See you Monday!

We know the start of the work week can be a bit daunting, so take a break this afternoon and catch up on what women are saying on Twitter! Today we found that no one particularly likes Mondays, American Girl Dolls from childhood influence our behavior and decisions as adults, Ellen DeGeneres tells funny jokes and Lena Dunham gives a whole new meaning to the phrase “sleeping around.” We hope you enjoy these tweets and that they make your Monday a little better!
