Bella Santorum Back In The Hospital

The primaries have been rough and undoubtedly taxing for presidential candidate Rick Santorum, whose youngest child Bella has just been admitted to the hospital for the second time this year.

“Rick and his wife Karen have taken their daughter Bella to the hospital,” Santorum spokesman Hogan Gidley said in a statement. “The family requests prayers and privacy as Bella works her way to recovery.”

Santorum briefly put campaign events on hold in January when Bella, who suffers from rare genetic condition Trisomy 18, came down with pneumonia and had to be hospitalized. It’s rare for children with her condition to survive past their first birthday, but miracle Bella has already made it to age three. Fingers crossed the little girl makes a full recovery.

    Praying for little Bella to make a full recovery.
    I was hoping her dad would win the election, because I love his policies and think that he is just what this country needs, but that doesn’t look like its gonna happen. Wishing little Bella, and the Santorum family all the best. and wishing this little girl the best of health. Her life has already exceeded expectation, and proved how miracles can happen, if we just give people a chance at life. Bella has touched my heart! :-) <3
