Newspaper Bans Topless Photos, Calls It A “Big Step For All Men”
1:45 pm, March 9th | by Hillary Reinsberg
Boobs no more. At least not for German Bild newspaper, which has, at last, decided to stop featuring naked women on its cover. This, apparently, is a big deal.
The newspaper is Germany’s biggest, and has been featuring topless ladies on its cover since 1984. The AP is sure to note that it was the MALE STAFF who made the decision. Said male staffers also issued a statement saying it was “perhaps a small step from women’s point of view – but it’s a big step for Bild and all men in Germany.”
Uhhh.
Well, it’ll be a big step come tomorrow, maybe. Because Bild couldn’t go out without a bang: today’s issue features the last topless lady. A buxom blonde, so we’re told.
