Newspaper Bans Topless Photos, Calls It A “Big Step For All Men”

Boobs no more. At least not for German Bild newspaper, which has, at last, decided to stop featuring naked women on its cover. This, apparently, is a big deal.

The newspaper is Germany’s biggest, and has been featuring topless ladies on its cover since 1984. The AP is sure to note that it was the MALE STAFF who made the decision. Said male staffers also issued a statement saying it was “perhaps a small step from women’s point of view – but it’s a big step for Bild and all men in Germany.”

Uhhh.

Well, it’ll be a big step come tomorrow, maybe. Because Bild couldn’t go out without a bang: today’s issue features the last topless lady. A buxom blonde, so we’re told.

Does this mean men think women are better off covered up, say like they do in the middle east?

I guess it’s a wager that men at this juncture don’t need a carnal carrot in order to seek knowledge :)

shouldnt it be big step for women ?
because i guess men wouldnt like this “step” that much !!

I think the male staffers were implying that they were giving up a great pleasure to them.

Too bad. Nothing wrong with the beauty of the human body.

I presume this means they won’t be showing any more topless shots of Putin, either.
