“Bridesmaids” Officially The Most Popular Video-On-Demand Movie Ever

An R-rated sex-comedy romp, starring six luscious ladies just became the most-ordered video-on-demand title of all time. And no, it’s not what you’re thinking.
After attracting 4.8 million rentals, “Bridesmaids” has become the all-time most-ordered video-on-demand movie, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Not the most-ordered comedy, or the most-ordered romantic comedy. Or the most-ordered women’s comedy. The most-ordered movie. Period. (For those keeping score at home, it’s apparently raked in $24 million through VOD in four months alone. Impressive.)
I mean, not that there was pressure from the film industry that it do well or anything.
