Bristol Palin: ‘I Like Gays. I’m Not A Homophobic’
1:00 pm, July 29th | by Laura Donovan
“Dancing with the Stars All-Stars” contestant Bristol Palin has lots to celebrate right now, but there are plenty of people who think she promotes intolerance. In light of the news that Palin’s 3-year-old allegedly used the word “f-ggot” on reality show “Life’s A Tripp” (the rumors were later reported as false, as the child actually dropped the “f” bomb), a journalist asked the 22-year-old how she’d feel if she were to be paired up with a gay individual on the dancing program. Palin answered that she approves of folks of that lifestyle and is not homophobic as some have accused her of being:
“You know what? I like gays. I’m not a homophobic and I’m so sick of people saying that. Just because I’m for traditional marriage doesn’t really mean I’m scared or anything of anyone else and I don’t hate anybody.”
We’ll take that as a yes, she’d be okay with partnering with a gay person. As Bristol went on to state, “it’s not about politics, it’s not about traditional marriage and anything like that. It’s just about dancing.” May the best dancer pair up with Ms. Palin this fall!
