Carol Bartz: “Doofuses” At Yahoo “F—ed Me Over”

Carol Bartz isn’t happy she got unexpectedly canned as Yahoo’s CEO — but at least she’s being humorous about it. Or bitter?  ”These people f–ked me over,” she tells Fortune. Guess what folks? It’s not the first time she’s dropped the f-bomb.

In her first interview since being fired, Bartz explains all the gritty details of how the thing went down. While in a New York hotel room, Bartz gave Yahoo Chairman Roy Bostock a scheduled phone call, at which point “he started reading a lawyer’s prepared statement to dismiss her.”

Bartz’s response? ”I said, ‘Roy, I think that’s a script. Why don’t you have the balls to tell me yourself?’” Burnnnn! Bartz then put at end to the conversation by telling Bostock, “I thought you were classier.” Don’t mess with Bartz!

Additionally, Bartz adds that she thinks the board of directors is a group of “doofuses,” but that she wants to remain a director there, because she has “way too many purple clothes.” Haha?

And about that f-bomb business. Bartz gave Tech Crunch founder/newly minted and controversial venture capitalist Michael Arrington the same treatment last year:
