Don’t be so quick to assume that porn stars entered their chosen field as a result of feeling bad about themselves or having negligent family members. Though many assume this about sex workers, a new study in the Journal of Sex Research suggest that porn actresses are just the opposite. The researchers found that the “women have higher self-esteem, a better quality of life and body image, and are more positive, with greater levels of spirituality.”
