Colbert On Grothman, Gender Pay Gap: “Money Is A ‘Guy Thing’” [VIDEO]

Stephen Colbert is tired of hearing about this phony, so-called “GOP war on women.” And he’s willing to “personally fight any woman” who brings it up.
Of course, while parsing this ‘lamestream’ media-propelled “war on women,” Colbert included some of the debate’s high points. Like when RNC Chair Reince Priebus compared the war on women to a “war on caterpillars.” Analogies… he’s got ‘em.
With that in mind, it was only a matter of time before Colbert brought up GOP State Senator Glenn Grothman’s recent controversial statements about the gender pay gap. For those who are in the dark, Grothman recently said that women are often paid less than men because “money is more important for men.” Not difficult to see why that would be a contentious statement.
But Grothman’s comments were enough to earn him a coveted spot among Colbert’s new “Lady Heroes.” And why? “Grothman understands that money is a ‘guy thing.’ Like football or buffalo wings. Or deciding what is fair compensation for women.” Burn. Watch more below:
