Evil Teacher Registers Students To Vote, Is Charged With Fraud
9:43 am, March 2nd | by Amy Tennery
Dawn Quarles, a high school teacher in Florida, wanted to encourage her students to participate in local, state and national politics. Great. To do so, she offered to register all of them to vote. Then things took a nasty turn.
Apparently Quarles had violated a Florida state law that prohibits a person from filing voter registrations on behalf of others more than 48 hours after collecting them. And she was fined $1,000. For turning in registrations late. Yep.
This was enough to warrant her inclusion among “The Colbert Report’s” list of “People Who Are Destroying America,” a segment that proves beyond all doubt that voting among young people is extremely dangerous.
