Creepiest Construction Sign Ever Half-Heartedly Apologizes For Pervy Workers

Nobody likes catcallers, but you know what actually seems worse than a classless construction worker asking an innocent passerby to take off her clothes and perform fellatio on him in the middle of the street? A sign justifying such sexual harassment by the fact that the female victim is simply too hot not to be objectified or bothered.

Sadly, this sign exists at MarketFair Mall in New Jersey. E. Allen Reeves Construction Company just posted a sign that reads, “We apologize for the whistling construction workers, but man you look good! So will we soon, please pardon our dust, dirt, and assorted inconveniences.” Naturally, some are up in arms about it and protesting the ridiculous sign that makes light of catcalling and sexual harassment. As Change.org put it:

Construction companies should view sexual harassment as something to penalize their workers for doing, not as something to encourage their workers to do, especially at a mall where there are so many teenage girls who could be the target of the harassment.

Seriously. If these organizations know their employees tend to make disgusting kissing noises and masturbatory gestures at women on the job, they need to enforce punishment on the harassers rather than basically provide the “boys will be boys” excuse. Take responsibility for your pervy workers and say sorry like a damn professional.
