Idiot Fox Anchor Calls Danica Patrick “The B-Word”

When Fox San Diego showed a clip of Danica Patrick decrying the fact that female athletes are routinely referred to as being “sexy,” anchor Ross Shimabuku shot back: ”Oh, I’ve got a few words—Starts with a ‘B’, and it’s not ‘beautiful.”
You’d think, after that, that Shimabuku would’ve put his foot squarely in his mouth. But nope. “She has a chip on her shoulder,” he went on. The one female anchor on hand tried to defend Patrick, as she’s “a pioneer” “trying to break into a man’s world,” which “cannot be easy,” but the male anchors pretty much just turned their heads and ignored her.
The third anchor on hand, a man, mentioned Patrick’s appearance in the suggestive, “sexy” GoDaddy ad, but that’s beside the point. As Patrick said earlier, she wants to be respected for her skill as a driver, not as a sex symbol.
