There may not be too many women at Davos, but the ones who did make it are getting together for an all-star event. We wonder what they’ll talk about.
Tina Brown’s “people” tell Capital New York:
“She is co-hosting an event tomorrow night with Abby Disney, Ellen Kullman, Sheryl Sandberg and Pamela Thomas Graham,” said a spokesperson who is out there with her. “It is a dinner in association with Credit Suisse to honor 2011 Nobel Peace Prize [recipient] and author of Beast Books’ Mighty be Our Powers, Leymah Gbowee.”
New York Times editor Jill Abramson is said to be involved too.
For clarification: Abby Disney (grand-niece of Walt) runs the Daphne Foundation and made a documentary about the aforementioned Leymah Gbowee, Ellen Kullman’s the CEO and Chairman of DuPont, Sheryl Sandberg is the COO of Facebook, and Pamela Thomas Graham is a top exec at Credit Suisse as well as author.
Don’t worry ladies, go enjoy yourselves. We’re here, holding down the fort.
