Dianne Feinstein Evolved On Gay Marriage, Too, You Know

President Barack Obama isn’t the only Democrat to have reevaluated his/her views on same-sex marriage. Whether you’re aware of it or not, California Senator Diane Feinstein underwent the same kind of transformation.
“It also happened to me,” the west coast political figure said during a “Fox News Sunday” appearance, adding that conversing with more and more same-sex couples sparked the change:
“You get to know more and more gay couples. You see the happiness. You see the economic security that marriage brings and even more fundamentally you see children who otherwise would not have an adopted home being able to have that home. So same sex couples raise children, they do a fine job…More and more people say what’s wrong with people being happy?”
While the shift in thinking is a good move, why did it take so long to reach this realization?
