(One of) Eric Schmidt’s Ex-Mistress(es) Tweets out Alleged Flight Attendant Attack

If anyone would like to make a compelling case as to which part of that headline was more weird and shocking, Mogulite is all ears.
As it turns out, one of Google Chairman Eric Schmidt’s handful of ex-mistresses was purportedly attacked by a United Airlines flight attendant recently. And she decided it was a good idea to tweet about it. Yep.
Ex-Googlebine Marcy Simon got into the unexplained altercation presumably mid-air (she has taken the tweets down, as far as we can tell, but Gawker has them, if you want to take a look). She first tweeted:
Just abused by a Unitwed [sic... and Freudian slip?] flight attendant on UA hit hit [sic] me with a MAC @Unitedairlines
Hit by a MAC? The indignity! She continues:
Took 10 minutes for Ice and they begged for Mercy #hitbyflightattendant #Unitedairlinesabusiveflightattendants
They begged for mercy? Uh oh. I’m really hoping that was a typo. For the sake of the other passengers… and also Simon’s criminal record.
I’m sure Schmidt is none too pleased to see his past paramour back in the press — although he can take comfort knowing that (at least) she hasn’t launched some damaging tell-all blog that will occupy solid weeks of his energy and anger. That was so 2010.
