Crafty Job Applicant Tries To Bribe Facebook Execs… With Cake?

We all know why you’d want a job at Facebook. It’s regularly listed among the best places to work, it’s a rising (and rising, and rising) company and you’d get to work (indirectly) for Sheryl Sandberg, which is just the icing on the deal.
But there was one guy who really wanted a job at Facebook. Enough that he was willing to shell out a little dough to make it happen.
Rather than just emailing his resume, Bertrand Noirhomme decided to sweeten his application up — by sending a cake, with his resume on the box, according to the blog All Facebook. Why you’d send a cake to bribe people who could probably buy Sara Lee by themselves is beyond me. But it’s a creative way of getting your resume noticed… right?
No word yet on whether Noirhomme got a job from the scheme. (Call us pessimistic but we’re gonna say no.)
