Slimy Dad Who Owed Child Support Finally Goes Home When Promised Part In Jennifer Aniston Film

You can’t force a man to buy his offspring food and clothing, but you can get him to travel all the way across the country if he thinks he’s making the trip to act in a movie alongside “Sexiest Woman of All Time” Jennifer Aniston. This is applicable to bounty hunter Joshua Garlathy, who has owed $32,000 in child support for nearly two decades but never bothered to pay back his ex-girlfriend. Unsurprisingly, he was quite eager to hop on a plane from Hawaii to Pennsylvania to accept a role in an Aniston rom-com.

When he stepped off the aircraft, there was a camera crew all right, but not for the supposed movie he’d been asked to partake in. The “producer” of the fake flick was Scott Bernstein, who was actually filming Garlathy for a reality show pilot on deadbeat parents. May seem kind of slimy and sneaky, but he owed his former flame and kid big time. Besides, his ex said he’d always had a desire to be in the spotlight:

“He always wanted to be famous. Now he’s famous.”
