You may already know that we’re not fans of creepers here at The Jane Dough . But the only thing worse than a classless creep is one who tries to justify his disturbing antics with a B.S. excuse. Take for instance the bus driver who said “excessive caffeine” intake was to blame for his groping of several teens and two women. Then there are the lovely NYPD cops who told Brooklyn women to avoid dresses and skirts lest they wanted to be sexually assaulted. Here are a few insane justifications for headline-making creepy and dangerous behavior.

1. To avoid rape, women in Brooklyn advised to eschew dresses and shorts
After nearly a dozen women became victims of sexual assault in Brooklyn last year, cops reportedly told women to cover up. Parkslope.org published a letter about the silly suggestions: "We have received reports that multiple women have been told by officers on patrol that they are making themselves targets of violence by wearing clothing items like shorts, dresses, or skirts. These messages place the blame on women, including the survivors of assaults, in our neighborhood. Women should be able to wear whatever they want without fear of violence. It is the job of the police to protect people from harm -- not blame them for it."
2. Shanghai subway system points to female attire as possible cause for sexual harassment

3. Creepy dude says he films female subway riders for 'art'
Quite possibly the slimiest slimeball in the world had a YouTube channel called "New York Subway Girls," which contained footage of women on the NYC train. YouTube has since removed the fellow's twisted channel, but who is to say he won't create another? After all, he says it's 'art.' You know what else is art? Me junk punching you, creepshow!
4. Man blames groping on 'excessive caffeine' intake
I do crazy things when I don't have my morning cup of Joe, but could never be driven to sexually assault someone due to too much java consumption. But one bus driver said he groped several teen girls and two women because of "excessive caffeine." Looks like someone can't hold his coffee.
5. Creepy finance guy chalks up dating spreadsheets to organizational skills
When a New York investment banker's dating spreadsheet went viral online, he said the detailed compilation was just "an honest attempt to stay organized." Right...
