Foster Friess: I Hope Obama’s “Teleprompters Are Bulletproof”

Look at that, the guy famous for suggesting women stick a couple Bayer aspirin between their knees as contraception said something stupid and super offensive.
One-time Rick Santorum campaign-backer Foster Friess hit the airwaves this week, sharing what might be one of the most ill-advised sentiments of all time. That is, if you consider jokes about assassinating the President of the United States to be “ill-advised.”
During a Fox Business News segment, human wallet Friess dropped this little gem, via ABC:
“There’s a lot of things that haven’t been hammered at because Rick and Mitt have been kind of going at each other. Now that they’ve kind of trained their barrels on President Obama I’m afraid his — I hope his teleprompters are bulletproof.”
After what ABC described as “a short moment of total silence,” Friess clarified that he “mean[s] that figuratively.”
Oh, hah, I see — you were just figuratively joking about the president being shot during a speech. That’s… wow, yea, not funny at all.
