The More You Know
Newsflash: Freelancing Will Spoil You [INFOGRAPHIC]

There are many benefits (and downsides) to the writing profession, and one of the main perks is its flexibility. You can punch out a high quality article in your pajamas and no one will ever know your grungy journey to production, but freelancing isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. A new infographic reveals that the more a person freelances, the harder time they’ll have with more traditional work.
The information, which was compiled by JESS3 and 24 Seven, reveals that the longer an individual freelances, the less likely he/she is to desire permanent employment. Though they appear to have it pretty easy (and dive into the industry for freedom and flexibility), freelancers have plenty to worry about. Their top concerns are staying professionally relevant, meeting deadlines, and having an unclear path or direction. You’re also only as good as your last article, and I can tell you firsthand that the excitement of penning something amazing fades real fast. But hey, at least it keeps you on your toes.
