Gabrielle Giffords Looked Amazing At ‘Salute to Freedom’ Dinner
1:29 pm, May 25th | by Laura Donovan
It’s been a while since we’ve heard anything from former Arizona Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, who continues to recover from last year’s Tucson shooting rampage and stepped down from her position in late January, but she looked great and healthy at the 21st annual “Salute to Freedom” dinner, where she received the 2012 Salute to Women award from Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum in New York.
The previous day, Giffords was in California and got a Medal of Valor from the Simon Wiesenthal Center. She has come a long way since January 8, 2011, and it has been really inspiring to watch her progress over the last sixteen months. Keep doing what you’re doing, Gabby, and thank you.
