Update: Girl Scout Crunch Bar Is Real, But You Can’t Have One

Remember the utterly fascinating Girl Scout Thin Mints Crunch bar that surfaced yesterday? Some folks found out if it was real or not.
A Girl Scouts rep tells Today that the photo that was circulating was “a retail sales sample,” (which we noted) and is “not available for sale at this time.” It will, however, be available in a few months’ time.
Our suspicion, then, that the cookie was part of the Girl Scouts big 100th year anniversary celebration, may have been a bit off. Regardless, we’re sure the organization is pleased to be getting some more positive press than last week’s.
