Greatest Woman Ever Gives Husband Kidney For Valentine’ Day

And you thought you were the greatest girlfriend ever for getting your significant other a watch!

Melissa Degesso-Jones, who gave her husband a kidney for Valentine’s Day, definitely goes down in history as one of the best V-Day present givers ever, as her man needed a transplant for his health.

Husband James had been suffering from renal failure for a while before he found out he needed a kidney transplant from a matching donor. Before Melissa even knew her kidney type, she offered hers up. Melissa said:

“There wasn’t any reservation, or never did I ever fathom the idea I wouldn’t be. That’s the funny part. I never thought, ‘Oh, what if I don’t match?’ I just assumed I would.”

Luckily for both of them, Melissa was a match. James explained , “Everything matched. It was just a gift from God.”

Not to mention the greatest V-Day gift ever. Now step up your game, everyone! Chocolates won’t cut it anymore!
