The debate about whether or not money buys happiness is subjective, but Science is making an effort to change that. The newest report from Proceedings of the National Academy of Science claims that “among leaders, lower stress levels go hand in hand with greater rank and power.” Hm…could there be a common variable among all those leaders?

If you could go back in time to pick up a floppy disk drive, would you want to? Exactly. And yet, there is technology all around us that persists even though other, clearly superior and mostly digital inventions have taken their place. And I take that personally. It’s the equivalent of me hanging on desperately to the phonograph. Although the phonograph will never be obsolete in my heart.

The ACLU says father-daughter dances not only play into an old stereotype of what kinds of activities “girls” enjoy, but they discriminate against girls who don’t have fathers. I disagree.
