Sisters Who Sang Viral Santorum Song Amazed He Didn’t Abort Disabled Child

Stalling for another person is tough — and that’s perhaps what led the Harris sisters to say it was “amazing” of presidential contender Rick Santorum not to abort his eighth child as they waited for the delayed politician to arrive at his own campaign event. Hey, people spout unusual things when under pressure or thrown curveballs.

The girls, whose anthem for Santorum went viral earlier this month, opened for him at a Louisiana Tea Party rally Wednesday and found themselves having to remain on stage for about 30 minutes due to the candidate’s weather-influenced tardiness. According to BuzzFeed, the 18 and 20-year-old young ladies “indulged in some light patter with the audience, including praising Santorum for the number of children he has (‘Seven kids!’).” He may as well have written “Cheaper By the Dozen,” right?

But the weird comment came after, when one of the girls said of Santorum’s 3-year-old Isabella, who was born with Edwards syndrome and hospitalized earlier this year, “he didn’t abort the last one, which is amazing.” I’m sure she’ll appreciate that when she’s old enough to understand the meaning of “abortion.”

Until Santorum showed up, the girls played two rounds of “Game On,” crooned other patriotic tunes, and even conducted a Q&A with the audience about why they’re Santorum fans. As the Harris sisters left the gathering (and internally celebrated their freedom), they reportedly shouted at the crowd, “God bless America and God bless Rick Santorum. Oh, and Ronald Reagan.” What, no love for anyone else?

“Game On” preaches pro-life sentiment and is about as far right as a song could be, so the Harris sisters weren’t out to say it’s amazing when women don’t terminate their pregnancies. Maybe one of them misspoke because she didn’t expect to stay on stage beyond her 2 1/2 minute-long number. As we learned last week, people do weird things when overwhelmed or under a lot of pressure.

    Brainwashed Children.

  • Kaitlyn Marshbanks

It would seem so. Wonder whether they know that Karen Santorum lived in sin with an ABORTION DOCTOR before Rick picked her up!  And Karen Santorum was a NURSE at the time.  Draw your own conclusions!  They are NOT good enough to be in our White House!

    Pretty…..dumb.

  • Henry Wood

I certainly hope that Rick warned them about wearing those racy outfits.  Where are your Jesus-burkhas ladies?

    A seriously funny video.

Home School and Charter School Indoctrination destroys children. These poor kids will always be lunatics. They are ruined, and they will spread the ruin to others. What a shame.

Having watched these two fantastical hotties in the video, I will gladly assist them with their eligibility requirements to have a matched set of abortions.

As far as I am concerned, anyone that would still vote for the DiaRea (Democrat/Republican) Party is mentally dysfunctional and likely to produce offspring that are the same.

The public schools are great- for the teachers union bosses.!

Santorum is a lunatic who is not on the fringe because he is the real thing.  He doesn’t have to lie like George W. Bush because he is too stupid to say anything that makes sense.

  • Anonymous

I think the biggest news here is the fact that Santorum was pregnant… “Amazed He Didn’t Abort Disabled Child”… It’s a miracle I tell ya! Santorum gave birth to a child! Miracle. Praise Jesus!

    Thanks for the laugh!!!!! haha

There’s no story here. Just a left wing bs-spouting HIT piece catering to a neanderthal crowd that KNOWS they’ll NEVER EVER score PUSSY as sweet as these two, finding something out of NOTHING.

Chicks say ‘amazing’ all the time.  It’s the new ‘awesome.’ But you liberals are so backasswards, I should say on your behalf, it’s the new ‘groovy.’ LOL
So, it is awesome and amazing that he chose not to abort a child that EVERY SINGLE LIBERAL would.

And this SLIMY insult that ‘maybe one day when she’s old enough, she’ll know what abortion means’ is less demeaning to these TWO HOT CHIX THAT YOU’LL NEVER GET than it is EMBARRASING to you liberals who are in the corner MASTURBATING to them as I post! Bam!

Oh PLEASE…this is such pro-life pandering I can’t STAND it.

you’re a freakin’ idiot.  You have NO IDEA what a person feels about life no matter WHAT political party they are from.  STFU!

Santorum just makes me sick – how much further is he going to go to prove he is an imbecile.
These cutsie little hi jinks are soooo childish.

The way I read it, Santorum would have been the abortionist. :)

    Stay classy Libs.

I’m not voting for Santorum but I think its nice they wrote a catchy song about someone they believe it.  Your a small minded *ick if your picking on these girls. I bet you thought The Obama girl was normal.

  • AfricanDude

Misleading title.. she said it “was amazing” that he didn’t abort the baby not that she “was amazed” he didn’t abort the baby. First one means that it was a great thing to do and second one implies disbelief.

  • http://twitter.com/LauraDonovanUA Laura Donovan

I’m not picking on them, I actually think they are quite talented and were simply unprepared to perform for as long as they did. We all have slip-ups sometimes. I know they didn’t mean any harm, it just came out very badly.

  • Anonymous

We sure will.  We don’t have someone as classy as Limbaugh or Hannity to look up to, but we’re looking desperately for a good role model.

  • Anonymous

Lets just hope they never wear a hoodie some people could get the wrong impression.

  • Anonymous

Judge not, and you shall not be judged.  I think they are perfect for our White House, in fact so would any of the Republican candidates, as they are pro-life.

  • Anonymous

Well, then, what shall we do, and for whom should we vote?  Don’t put things down unless you have an alternative way to suggest.

  • Anonymous

I bet my life savings his I.Q. is better than yours, I certainly know his manners are.

  • Anonymous

better than Pro-Death, which is a nice name for Pro-Choice.  They “clean” all the dirty words up …those who wish to sin and kill.

  • Anonymous

If he belongs to Mensa his I.Q. may be higher than mine; but doubtful since mine has been measured as high as 177+.  As to manners, anyone who wants to push his Roman Catholic religion down the throats of all Americans is not only stupider than a rock, he is perverting the U. S. Constitution and I don’t think that counts for having any manners whatsoever.

  • Anonymous

I HATE people like you.  You have NO IDEA what people that are PRO-CHOICE believe.  ABSOLUTELY NO FREAKIN’ IDEA…but you will use your sanctimonious ‘sin and kill’ for every single thing you don’t understand.  ZIP you pants jerkface…you are flippin’ CLUELESS.

  • Anonymous

I know exactly what people who are pro-choice believe, I was one of them when I talked myself into abortion … taking a little inconvenient flesh out, and killed my child. And, it was illegal then.   My hair fell out afterwards, and it took years to recover, that is because I saw what”IT”  looked like later on TV.  Why would I zip my pants?  I am a woman, and only need to unzip to pee, or change.  I don’t hate anyone, and I suggest you think about it…are you a believer, and know that God is Love?   I had and still have a beautiful face, and was a model.  I forgive you.  Forgive them for they know not what they do.  Jesus died for you.

  • Anonymous

My priest friend has I.Q. of 180, but I admit some of my highly intelligent friends do not have a very high “Emotional” I.Q.  It isn’t just a “Catholic” religion about pro-life, it is Christian.  Obama is going against the Constitution trying to force folks to buy insurance.  He wants to change it anyway.  Do you listen to the Supreme Court, Mr. Smartie?  They are going to go after it soon.

  • Anonymous

And, Jews, as well…most educated people who know the fetus is a child realize abortion is wrong.

  • Anonymous

I’m sorry that your experience was so horrible but it was YOUR experience.  I have been pro-CHOICE all my life because although God gave me dominion over MY life he did not make me qualified to answer or rule other peoples bodies.  It is an individual CHOICE.  Not all people ANSWER to your god.  Not all people believe that THEIR God is one of hell fury.  I don’t need your forgiveness.  My life is fine and clean and GOD knows it.  I have 2 beautiful children and I have raised them to respect other people’s beliefs no matter WHAT they are.

  • Anonymous

God gave you free will.  He has dominion over your life.  You will account for it later.  Yes, all people answer to my God, because there is only one God, he created us all.  We chose heaven or hell ourselves.  I do hope your children learn discernment of what is right and what is wrong.  All peoples’ beliefs are not to be respected.  Some are very wrong. Read lots of history.

Zealots in all religions are delusional.

  • Anonymous

The original Zealots were Jewish, complaining about Rome.  Your sentence isn’t very clear.  Religion means “belief,” therefore, if you believe in the truth, and are a Zealot, you are full of Zeal.  And, that is good.  John the Baptist got his head cut off for it.  That’s what those who do not know the truth want to do today.  The Truth is an inconvenience.  Jeremiah was badly beaten by his own people and thrown in a pit, and finally stoned, because he was a prophet who preached the truth, to stop worshiping idols…many have made greed, sex, power their gods of today, false idols.

TexasJo, surely you are old enough to know that your hair ALWAYS falls out at the end of a pregnancy — including one which ends in childbirth, not just abortion or miscarriage.

It’s a shame you regret your choice, but it is a SIN that you don’t want other women to have the freedom you had.

Jesus died because the Romans thought of him as a rebel leader.  Grow UP.  It’s okay if you want to believe what you believe, but it is just childish to think the rest of the world should be forced to follow your beliefs.  No need to forgive me, I’m fine as I am, and your “forgiveness” reeks of passive-aggressive smarminess.

  • http://ankhorite.tumblr.com Ankhorite

SecureOneThree, you are TOTALLY messed up  if you think referring to two young women who are not working prostitutes as “PUSSY” is defending them.

Clean up your act, and go wash out your soul with soap.

I’ve been pg four times, and never did my hair fall out.  It came out in chunks, and I would have the shakes at night thinking I had malaria or something.  I believe I had the abortion because I didn’t want to have another baby with that husband, and went against my own values.  My first child was from a rape, and I didn’t believe in abortion and glad I relinquished him to a so-called good home.  The home wasn’t that good, I found out later.  I’ve worked in the Adoption Triad for some years in California.  It’s too long to talk about here, but there are many good people wanting a baby and would love one of the ones aborted.  The men in China are seeking women elsewhere because so many of the girls were killed (one baby per family or you get fined).  I just want other women to think it out..it is a baby…give your baby a chance to live.  Find a good home for him/her if you can’t provide.  Keep in touch.  I forgive those who trespass against me, as I wish forgiveness.  I think of my “girl” when her “birthday” comes around which would be in August, and wonder what she would be like.  BTW, my grandchildren are abortions because my daughters are progressive thinkers.  They are sorry, also, but wouldn’t admit it for years.  The “forgiveness” is in the Lord’s Prayer in case many of you don’t know it…my grandson (from relinquished baby) didn’t know it, (The Lord’s Prayer) and is wandering around somewhere, lost…he didn’t have any religion then or now…schools saw to that!  I pray for all of you and the unborn babies.  We shall all meet one day.

”an immoderate, fanatical, or extremely zealous adherent to a cause, esp a religious one[from Late Latin zēlōtēs, from Greek, from zēloun to be zealous, from zēlos zeal].”  The zealots in the Bible were not the first group to be zealots.

  • http://ankhorite.tumblr.com Ankhorite

Jo, the system won’t let me reply to your most recent comment, so I have to reply (again) to this one instead.

Just wanted to say that obviously this issue very emotional and fraught issue for you; I hope you find peace.  Best wishes.

  • Anonymous

But, that was the first use of the word…the Jewish were called zealots.  The bible was written in Greek.  Anyway, it can have a good or bad meaning, the same as “gay.”

  • Anonymous

Thank you Ank…Peace be to you, also.  I have some marvelous years.  Now, the world seems to change backwards in many ways, even tho tech is the new way.  People are not connecting, they are texting.
