HBO Realizes Anyone Who Would Watch “Girls” Can’t Afford HBO
11:30 am, April 13th | by Laura Donovan
If you’re anything like the characters in upcoming HBO comedy “Girls,” you survive in New York City by skipping lunch, so resources for luxuries such as cable and HBO are impossible to come by. That’s why the network is offering complimentary access to the show’s first few episodes.
“Girls” will be available on several websites from April 16, which is the day after the show’s premiere, until May 14, according to Deadline. You can watch it on your very own laptop by clicking over to DailyMotion, HBO.com. TV.com, YouTube, and using multiple distributors’ Free On Demand platforms. We’re kind of disappointed that the free trial only lasts a month, but that’s still 30+ days saved on television bills!
