Fill Your Girls Void By Seeing Hello I Must Be Going
1:00 pm, July 12th | by Laura Donovan
Have you missed HBO’s Girls since the season finale aired last month? To temporarily fill the void, you can gear up for Hello I Must Be Going, which stars Girls actor Chris Abbott, who plays the hapless boyfriend Marnie has been trying to shove off for a long time.
The drama, which was hardly well-received at Sundance, is about Amy (Melanie Lynskey), a young divorcee who moves back in with her parents. In the middle of her identity crisis, she meets 19-year-old Jeremy (Abbott), with whom she has a fling. What could go wrong? It seems so scandalous, right? It’s apparently intense enough for Jeremy to tell Amy, “You’re supposed to be the adult in this relationship.” Now I’m intrigued. Can’t wait to see this in September.
