Did you know that five of the 10 top-paid CIOs at Fortune 500 companies are women?
That’s just one of the ways that the Chief Information Officer role may be among the most progressive in corporate America, according to new data compiled in this infographic from Wikibon. That might be because CIOs are are accountable for saving businesses major cash (up to 21 percent a year, for those who switch to cloud computing, for example).
