NY Sen. Ruben Diaz: ‘Hitler Was Pro-Choice. He Sent Jews To Auschwitz’

New York State Senator Ruben Diaz apparently didn’t get the widely read memo that making Hitler comparisons never ends well, as the Democratic politician has just likened the anti-Semitic sociopath to pro-choice supporters.

Diaz’s new press release, “What You Should Know” informs readers of Governor Andrew Cuomo’s support for the Reproductive Health Act, which Diaz says “will make abortion on demand a reality in the State of New York.” The document goes on to state that “Hitler was pro-choice. He chose to send the Jews to Auschwitz. That was not their choice that was Hitler’s choice.” Which other honorable folks has Diaz lumped into the pro-choice club? “Murderers, assassins and criminals are pro-choice. They choose to put a gun to your head and take your life. That is not your choice. That is their choice,” Diaz writes. If I ever find myself held up by a robber, will he scurry away if I say, “Did you know you’re executing a pro-choice move right now?”? Whatever it takes to fend off the bad men, right?

We’ve heard this line of thinking from slightly unhinged people before… but how exactly did this line of thinking make it into an official press release?
