The More You Know
The Infographic We’ve All Been Waiting For: How To Stress Less!

A couple of days ago, my manager told me to stop working and “go frolic in a meadow peacefully.” Here’s what I had to say to that: easier said than done! But a new infographic by BetterWorks and Column Five lays out exactly how a person can relax and chill out, which we really need to learn to do in our go-go-go society.
This may seem obvious to you, but 71 percent of American employees consider the office a stressful environment. You’d think it wouldn’t be that way for those who love what they do, but anyone who is dedicated to their work is willing to go the extra mile in that arena, and pushing oneself inevitably invites stress. Feeling overwhelmed at work comes through in other areas of life: you may become fatigued, suffer muscle tension, get angry, and have a lower sex drive. You can cope with work stress, according to the infographic, by welcoming five key things into your life: acupuncture (not for me, but thanks for the tip), exercise (yes, please!), massages (that’s more like it, unless your masseuse injures you), spiritual healing art Reiki, and yoga. Check out the full image below to see how you can improve your life and learn to frolic through a meadow no matter what you’ve got going on.
