If I could have one superpower that I got to make up, it would be the ability to snap my fingers and be ready for the day/a night out/what have you. The idea of never having to worry about blowdrying or moisturizing or applying makeup or brushing and flossing is….intoxicating. I’ve accepted that this will probably never happen in my lifetime (thanks for nothing, Science!), but it’s nice to know that one aspect of my appearance is a whole lot easier to manage. I’m speaking, of course, about my Google results.
Figuring out how to spruce up one’s online presence can be a little daunting, which is where Brand Yourself’s helpful breakdown comes in handy. Even people who aren’t looking to market themselves can be benefited by checking in on what pops up when they plug their names into Google. I know, I know, Googling yourself is embarrassing, but no one has to know. And it’s like going to your yearly physical — it’s good for your online health. Especially if you happen to share your name with any criminals.
