A good boss is a wondrous thing — like sunshine on a cloudy day, like peanut butter and chocolate. A bad boss, on the other hand, can make even a dream job feel like a complete nightmare. On the other side of the coin, being a boss certainly isn’t easy, and often the people who are promoted into leadership roles, while very talented, aren’t necessarily the best managers. That it’s a totally different skill set can sometimes go unappreciated by frustrated employees.
