Idiot Street Preacher Says Women Should Abide By Dress Code To Prevent Sexual Assault

The world can be such an unsafe place for women that they cannot even go outside in broad daylight without the fear of getting sexually assaulted. But according to Islamic street preacher Al-Haashim Kamena Atangana, their outfits may be to blame. The Toronto man says Canada must require females to “cover themselves” to prevent sexual assault.
“[T]he reason … these sex attacks are continuously happening is because [of] Canadian laws, which give too much [clothing] freedom to women,” Atangana wrote in an email to the QMI Agency. “If [women] want to prevent being sexually assaulted, they should cover themselves. You should take your example from the way Muslim women dress. Why does [sic] Muslim women who wear long dress and covers her head aren’t targeted for sex attacks?”
That’s really never happened before? We’ve seen other countries echo Atangana’s sentiment, which is merely a blatant attempt to try to control women rather than protect them. Revealing clothing does not tempt rapists. You could wear the frumpiest piece of fabric in the world and still be targeted by pervy creepy creeps. No more pretending that innocent women somehow welcome sexual assault by baring their shoulders in the summer.
