Jan Brewer’s Finger Wag to Obama Coming to a T-Shirt Near You!

Need a refresher on the recent finger pointing exchange between President Barack Obama and Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer? Don’t turn to the Internets or apps, because there’s a t-shirt for that, and it’s sure to inspire interesting reactions from onlookers and passersby.

The finger pointing incident, which took place less than a month ago, has already made it to clothing form at the hands of Arizona Republicans. According to CNN reporter Peter Hamby, the t-shirts, which depict a widemouthed Brewer apparently giving Obama a talking-to, went on sale at the the Maricopa County GOP Luncheon. Perhaps the conservative t-shirt vendors are proud of the photo, but at first glance, Brewer resembles an angry teacher scolding a tall male student, and no one wants to relive that kind of experience after childhood.

Upon being the subject of nationwide curiosity and criticism, self-proclaimed “animated” Brewer defended the unusual snapshot in a Washington Post video interview, justifying that she talks with her hands and had been discussing her book, “Scorpions for Breakfast: My Fight Against Special Interests, Liberal Media and Cynical Politicos to Secure America’s Border” with the president at the time of the finger wagging.

Exactly how and why the encounter took place is unimportant at this point, but hopefully the article of clothing serves as a reminder that it’s inappropriate to speak to the President of the United States in such a hostile manner, even if you happen to be a prominent politician yourself.
