Jane Harman Goes Back To Work Following Sidney Harman’s Death

Former congresswoman Jane Harman is heading back to work and into the spotlight for the first time following Sidney Harman death. Ms. Harman will assume her late husband’s seat on the Newsweek Daily Beast company board at tonight’s Deadline Club annual awards dinner at the Waldorf Astoria.
At the dinner, Harman will introduce Tina Brown, the current editor in chief of both Newsweek and the Daily Beast, who is slated to oversee a Q & A session with the event’s attendees.
Harman is also currently president and chief executive of the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars.
