 I have had personal tragedy in my life, like everyone else who is reading this. But I understand when comedians make jokes sometimes at my own personal expense, they are comedians. Try getting outraged at politicians who legislate against funding cancer research, or cut health care programs that could save lives. I would suggest there are better ways to use your forum as a writer than giving bad comedians free publicity.

As I wrote before, a simple Google search would have showed him that her hair may be short because she lost a significant amount of it during chemotherapy. Or maybe she just likes to keep it short. The answer is irrelevant. He also made a dumb joke about lesbians. There comes a point where it’s not funny, but mean.

Absolutely nothing funny about it – she nearly died.  When she finally came back to work, still very ill, she was brought to tears by the kindness of all her friends at Fox.  It was truly touching.  

I don’t think it’s even been a year.  I also think she has ongoing treatments. A lot of women with this type of cancer would keep getting chemo for years.

Financially? WTF are you talking about? The only arguments I have heard against women financial issues is we don’y want to pay for their controceptives. Physically? Again WTF? I don’t remember a single story on ANY news network where anyone physically stopped a woman from getting economic aid or health care. And believe me THAT would have been all over NBC news if it had happened. Emotionally? No one can help how someone feels emotionally. I feel just as emotional about not being forced to provide something I disagree with based on religious or even personal ethics. The only war going on is on peoples freedom to not have to provide for irrisponcibility.
As I said I have yet to see any laws passed that FORCE a woman to have no access to medical or economic aid. Just because someone disagrees with you doesn’t mean they are waging a war against you. This insane thinking and seems to sum up the liberal/progressive Democratic party.
