Stewart Compares Limbaugh To “Bucket Of Raw Sewage Mixed With Rotting Cow Guts”

By now you’ve probably had it up to your eyeballs with the round-the-clock coverage of Rush Limbaugh’s horrendous comparison of Georgetown student and contraception advocate Sandra Fluke to a prostitute (a.k.a. Rush’s Hilarious Joke). But last night, Jon Stewart explained why Limbaugh’s comments shouldn’t have come as a surprise.

Limbaugh — or, as Stewart refers to him, a “human cold shower” and the personal equivalent of “electrodes to your genitals” — made the now infamous “slut” comment after Fluke testified at a House contraception hearing. But Stewart wasn’t fazed by the comments:

“Personally, I don’t get too worked up about the things Rush Limbaugh says, because he is — and has been for many years! — a terrible person. Prior to this kerfuffle! Any woman concerned with issues that pertain to women’s health or work or her role in the world is, in Rush’s world, a ‘Feminazi.’ That’s his baseline for rhetoric. They’re ‘Feminazis’. Someone who would herd you onto a train to go to an Indigo Girls concert.

So, it’s Rush Limbaugh. Is it particularly vile Rush Limbaugh? Of course. That’s like saying ‘yea, this is a particularly pungent bucket of raw sewage mixed with rotting cow guts.’”

Raw sewage mixed with rotting cow guts. Name-calling hurts, doesn’t it?
