Juan Williams Makes Idiot Comment About ‘Corporate Wife’ Ann Romney, Doubts She Has Struggled

Can you believe it has been four months since political commentator Hilary Rosen famously said prospective first lady Ann Romney has never worked a day in her life? It was only a matter of time before another public figure said something equally stupid about the potential FLOTUS. Fox commentator Juan Williams said Tuesday night that Ann “looks to me like a corporate wife. The stories she told about struggles are hard for me to believe. I mean, she’s a very rich woman.”

That, of course, led the network panel to ask for an explanation. He continued:

“What does [corporate wife] mean? It looks like a woman whose husband takes care of her and she has been very lucky and blessed in this wife. She’s not speaking I think for the tremendous number of single women in this country or married women or separate women…You know what? She did not convince me that, ‘You know what? I understand the same struggles of American women.’”

I guess having MS, breast cancer, and miscarriages are struggles that only ‘corporate wives’ face.
