Kelly Clarkson Has To Deal With Lesbian Rumors On Top Of Weight Criticism

We already know that haters haven’t left numero uno “American Idol” winner Kelly Clarkson alone about her weight since she beat Justin Guarini in the reality show competition in 2002, but it’s almost equally annoying to know that people also joke that she’s a lesbian merely because she isn’t the kind of celebrity to have a different fella on her arm every week.

In a new interview with Lucky, the Texan explained that her sexuality is often questioned by folks who assume her “Miss Independent” ways indicate she’s not into men. The chat reads:

“Oh, there’s all these rumors that I’m a lesbian.” She laughs and then lunges across the table to grab a mini Snickers out of my hand. “Don’t eat that. It was in my dog’s mouth. I’ll find you one that wasn’t. Anyway. I have a boyfriend now, Brandon Blackstock, my manager Narvel’s son, Reba McEntire’s stepson?”

Well at least she has a good attitude about the noise. Seriously though guys, grow up and stop clipping the lady’s wings or trying to make assumptions about her preference based on the fact that she doesn’t over-share details of her private life with the public.
