Kim Kardashian Didn’t Have A Fashion Line To Launch This Week So Now She’s Pregnant

Well, is anyone surprised? Kim Kardashian has to start the new year off with a bang so she can stay relevant, but she already has, like, six fashion lines (that keep getting her sued) and she did the whole wedding thing, so a baby was the logical next step.
It seems that Kim has truly met her match in Kanye West— the rapper announced at a concert on Sunday night that his girlfriend is expecting. He told the crowd of more than 5,000 at Revel Resort’s Ovation Hall in song form: “Now you having my baby.” Today, Kardashian, 32, confirmed the news in a blog post on her website. ”It’s true!! Kanye and I are expecting a baby,” she wrote. “We feel so blessed and lucky and wish that in addition to both of our families, his mom and my dad could be here to celebrate this special time with us. Looking forward to great new beginnings in 2013 and to starting a family.” I can’t even imagine what this child will be like, but I do know it will wear a lot of Louis Vuitton.
I know I am coming down very harshly on Kim, but I truly think she adds zero value to society. Now, you could argue that lots of celebrities use their personal life to boost their career, but at least in the case of Jessica Simpson she has shown she has some legitimate talents (not to mention that Jessica’s fashion lines are actually extremely profitable. Kim has to work very, very hard to keep coming up with stuff to get herself press. It is exhausting to watch. She has secured herself many headlines for the next year, but what will she do after that?
Kim has been using this pregnancy to get attention even before she was actually with child. In September she tweeted, “Mom- want any coffee? Me- yes please Mom- how do u take it? Me- half coffee half milk. Just make it the color of what my kid would be.”
I wish this child the best of luck. He or she is going to need it.
