Fun Fact: Kim Kardashian Hearts “Rick Santoro”

Unusual friendships are fairly common in Hollywood and politics. Snooki and Sen. John McCain have bonded over tanning, for instance, and reality television star Kim Kardashian and former presidential candidate Rick Santorum might be the next dynamic duo to join the mix, as the “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” icon said at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner (WHCD) that she likes the former Pennsylvania Senator even though she’s a Democrat.
When the New York Daily News inquired about Kardashian’s political favorites, she said, “Rick Santoro [sic] and his daughters. I like the family connection,” but reassured the publication that she is still, in fact, a Democrat. I guess this means she won’t be supporting Mitt Romney, but a red vote in blue California isn’t worth much, anyway. Santorum hasn’t said anything about Ms. Kim yet, but we do know he got all crazy-eyed/starstruck over redhead cutie pie Lindsay Lohan at last weekend’s lavish affair, so our guess is that Kardashian has a long way to go before having the same kind of dazzling effect on Mr. Santoro.
Keeping with the theme of odd friendships, perhaps seasoned WHCD attendee Kardashian could catch Santorum’s eye by teaming up with the Harris sisters for another pro-Santorum song. Now that’s a collaboration I’d kill to see.
