VIDEO: Russian Oligarch Lebedev Punches Fellow TV Guest In The Face

On American Sunday talk shows, conversations sometimes get heated. On Russian Sunday talk shows, schoolyard-style throw-downs sometimes occur! That’s what happened between two billionaire oligarchs on Russian TV. Watch as one of Russia’s best and brightest “neutralizes,” i.e. punches, a fellow oligarch in the head, action movie style…you know you want to.

Alexander Lebedev, a media mogul and former KGB officer, and Sergei Polonsky, a real estate developer, appeared on a program together, and things got heated. In the clip, Polonsky manages to irritate Lebedev such that Lebedev gets up from his seat and punches Polonsky, sending Polonsky flying out of his chair and on to the ground.

Lededev, who earlier this summer expressed interest in buying News of the World (previous evidence that the guy’s a little crazy), explained that Polonsky had behaved inappropriately and had to be “neutralized.”

After the fact, Polonsky apparently claimed that he’d ripped his jeans and hurt his hand. Lebedev’s response? “He was hit in the face and he’s showing off a hole in the backside of his trousers. Strange.”

    He waits till the guy is not looking. Brave Russian KGB. This is how the thugs took over that country after Lenin made all decisions go to Moscow. How will Russia re-establish free trade with these thugs still in power?

    First of all, that guy is a Billionaire connected to Putin/FPS and he can do whatever he wants…I wonder what is going to happen when we get that douch’bag Perry is President and Putin comes back in Russia??…on a side-note,I’d love to see O’Rielly,Hannity or Limbaugh the Hutt in a similar situation…

    Didn’t want to comment on this, but as gospodin Polonsky has started his d*mn PR over this case and is bulling it with his stupid stubbornness has comment. It’s so right that this lunatic got what he deserves. He’s hanging around, cursing people, lying and offending everyone as there’s no one to believe in his hysterics.
    I bought a flat in his house, was waiting for 3 years while he was crying that “he is not allowed to build”, coming to TV, posting his weird FB comments and it now it’s clear to me he isn’t going to start even!@!!. So I found a layer to try to get my money back. And this man who even calls himself “not a businessman” and renamed his company as “NO NAME”,  doesn’t care about anything but his PR, has no reputation and trust let himself say IN PUBLIC nasty things about Lebedev!!! Lebedev is absolutely right to punch him. Hope this will teach polonsky to think first.
